Inhalers are medical devices that deliver medication directly to the lungs through a person’s own breathing. They are used in a variety of different medical conditions with asthma being the most common. There are different types of inhalers such as metered dose inhalers (MDIs), dry powder inhalers (DPIs), soft mist inhalers (SMIs), and nebulizers. Each type has its own advantages and disadvantages.
